Description
A friend wanted mala beads which were small enough to keep in her pocket or handbag, close at hand and immediately available when she needed it. I decided to make her a Mini Mala using 27 beads, a guru bead and a tassel.
A full mala comprises 108 beads, so my Mini Mala is one quarter of a full mala. However, it can be used as a full mala, by going around 4 times.
This Mini Mala is made using the Chakra colours, a Balinese Silver guru bead and Tassel cone, and a handmade silver silk tassel.
